Nicholas Kowalchuk is an associate with PGB. Nick concentrates his practice on the defense of employers, insurance carriers, and third party administrators in complex workers’ compensation matters. He works closely with clients to develop strategic approaches tailored to the unique facts of each claim, with a focus on efficient resolution and risk mitigation. Nick is committed to building strong, long-term relationships with employers and carriers through clear communication, responsiveness, and practical legal guidance.
Prior to joining the firm, Nick served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Bartels of the Mercer County Superior Court, where he gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making while working in both the Criminal and Chancery Divisions. Following his clerkship, Nick practiced with a Philadelphia-based law firm, representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His experience includes all phases of workers’ compensation litigation, from claim evaluation and discovery through motion practice, hearings, trial, and resolution.
Nick earned his Juris Doctor in 2022 from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from the University of Delaware in 2019. Nick is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Outside of his legal practice, Nick enjoys playing and watching basketball, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
